FAQ

Coaching

Gerard is a coach first. Most people come to him wanting to speak with more confidence, clarity, and impact.

Who is Gerard's coaching for?

Leaders, coaches, pastors, entrepreneurs, and emerging speakers who have something worth saying and want help shaping it into a clear, confident message. You do not need stage experience to start — many people come in having never spoken publicly before.

You work on the real material of your message: the experiences that shaped you, the meaning you have attached to them, the identity behind how you show up, and the way you deliver. Sessions blend mindset work with practical delivery coaching — voice, structure, presence, and connection with the room.

Fill out the short coaching form on the Coaching page. Gerard reads every request personally and follows up by email to talk through where you are and what you want to build.

Yes. You can schedule a 60-minute conversation with Gerard to talk through your goals before committing to anything. It is a real conversation, not a sales call.

Both. Most coaching happens online, and in-person work is arranged around the event or organization. Share what you have in mind in the coaching form and Gerard will confirm what fits.

That is one of the most common starting points. The work begins with what is getting in the way — the mental blocks, the self-image, the fear of being seen — and then builds the skill on top of a steadier foundation.

FAQ

Speaking & Booking

Gerard speaks for corporations, associations, schools, churches, conferences, and organizations building stronger communicators.
How do I book Gerard to speak?

Use the booking form on the Book Gerard page. Tell us about your audience, your event, and the change you want people to leave with. After you submit, you can schedule a 60-minute conversation with Gerard to shape the right experience.

Corporate events, association conferences, leadership gatherings, schools, churches, and organizational trainings — anywhere people need to communicate with more clarity, confidence, and conviction.

His talks center on story, identity, voice, and transformation: turning lived experience into a message people remember, and helping ordinary people become extraordinary speakers.

Both. Keynotes work for a main-stage moment; workshops and training sessions go deeper with a smaller group that needs to practice, not just listen. Many organizations pair the two.

Fees depend on the format, length, travel, and scope of the engagement. Share your event details through the booking form or email gerardgrogans@gmail.com and you will get a direct answer.

Yes. The Speaker page has Gerard’s full bio, topics, technical requirements, and a downloadable speaker kit PDF you can share with your committee.

FAQ

The Transformational Story Method™

Gerard’s signature methodology — the framework behind his coaching, training, speaking, and books.
What is The Transformational Story Method™?

It is Gerard’s framework for helping people uncover their defining life experiences, understand the emotional meaning attached to them, discover the identity formed from them, and turn those stories into a message, method, speech, book, or body of work they can teach to others.

Defining Moments → Emotional Imprint → Meaning → Identity → Message → Method → Impact. Each stage moves an experience one step closer to something teachable.

Most storytelling training works on delivery. This works on meaning first. Until you understand what an experience formed in you, the story stays an anecdote instead of becoming a message with a method behind it.

No. The method is built for real life, not extraordinary circumstances. What matters is the meaning an experience carries and the lesson it can teach someone else.
It grew out of Gerard’s own lived experience — three defining stories that became three core books and, over time, the intellectual and emotional foundation of the work he teaches from the stage.

Yes. The method is delivered as a keynote, a workshop, or a longer training engagement, depending on how deep a group needs to go. Mention your goals in the booking form.
